Wii in Australia thread

Honestly I haven't played any Harvest moon games but it turns out that the WiFi symbol is a mistake but how do they make mistakes like that it is crazy:crazy:

really?

I heard off someone harvest moon was good so i download'd it for my emulator (friends of mineral town) .It's a big game and instead of playing through the gba version i thought i'd wait till the wii version came out.

is it worth the time and effort for friends of mineral town?
They're all pretty much the same, except new character and dialogue and 'twists'.

Wifi was wrong cause THEY HATE ME

Manhunt 2 info!
You'd have to have pretty high hopes to be expecting that Rockstar's forthcoming gore-fest, Manhunt 2, will make its way to Australian shores without bearing the bullets of censorship, but in the case of this game, Australian gamers aren't going to be the only ones to fall victim to the classification process.

The British Board of Film Classification has announced that it has rejected Manhunt 2 on both Wii and PlayStation 2 (the PSP version was not submitted for classification) for release in the UK, with the decision - the first in ten years since Carmageddon - meaning that it cannot be legally supplied anywhere in the region.

Just import it, do you really think the aussie goverment is going to come to your house and take it off you ?

Import it from where it is kinda hard if you haven't got a modchip or Wii freeloader hey wait that doesn't work arr thats stupid they already have a version that does GC games on the Wii why hype different packaging!

SAM! commas and full stops peh-leez! Wii don't have freeloader for Wii games, do it? DO IT?

I like this avatar, it's staying. Mwahaha! no more crazy avatars for me!

I was to angry for commas, but now that I have calmed down I shall use them. No, we don't have freeloader for Wii although Datel(makers of freeloader) are releasing a version called Wii freeloader but only does GameCube games, even though they have already released a version that is said to work on the Wii.

I dont get it i said import it, I didnt say from USA or Japan. That means anywhere else in the world that uses the PAL system you will be able to play it on our wii's

Yeah but if it doesn't get the approval in Britain I think it will be very hard to find a pal version, unless there is some pal specialty site

Holland, Switzerland meh thats all i can think of at the moment. Im sure there are heaps more places that will get it.

Good point although I have never come across a place where you can buy games from Holland it isn't easy to get Pal games on the net now

For the record, typing PAL Games into google doesn't help. Also, does anyone actually plan to buy that Pokemon Wii game? It looks 'incredibly fun'.

Wow! Thanks Jono that was brilliant rep'd

@ Nkbswe5- There is lots of things that fall under the word PAL like PA or AL and even A. Oh and no I don't plan to buy the game seems boring and can't really see myself sitting down and playing Pokemon on a big screen
