Will Games still be able to download

After a bunch of useless replies I'll ask a legitimate question,Why do you need/want to reformat your memory?

I love how you can keep all the save data for games you rent on your wii and not have to clean it out or anything, if I ever decide to buy a game I rented I don't have to start over. Love it.

Because Im gonna sell it to a friend and wondering if the games are still gonna be there and I want it to get into factory settings.
