I gave my mom the money and she's buying it right now. Any tips as to what I should do or any helpful pointers?

Tips? Don't play online. Nothing but a bunch of 10 year olds who think cussing makes them bad@$$ and are either n00bs or have no lives and play all the freakin time and won't let you get a shot in, even if you're on their team >_<

Odd, none of the generalizations you make apply to me, but I still enjoy the online mode. Granted, I don't play for hours on end, more just a game or two for fun at times. Not sure about the cussing, since, as far as I know, there is no voice communication on the Wii for this game...

thats part of the reason for no voice chat. :) i like it this way. if you want to chat with squad mates, arrange it on skype

You need to man up because that's life... or just mute/turn off mic/speaker/whatever Wii has.

As for tips, I would agree with Godwind... CoD:WaW seems to be more about camping that CoD4 since the maps on WaW are very crazy and you can get shot from anywhere. So camping is what works best on this game. So try to camp someplace where you can get atleast 3 kills. Once you get the plane, try to hunt people down. But still be careful because unlike CoD4 they can come from anyway.

I see alot of people complain about the MP44, so learn that gun as it's very strong. I don't have the Wii version, but it's still the same game all around.

i agree with the other guy.
nothing is more annoying than a bunch of preteens screeching swears and telling you they pwned u! lollers and so on. it gets old. i fully support voice chat where you can only talk to yor own team

First off, I have 360. And secondly, I only played this one with my cousins, the generalizations were for CoD4 and I just assumed they applied here as well =3

Life is a bunch of immature preteens who do nothing but whine? Wow, life sure sucks then! Wait, there ARE mature people in the world? Great, then you can go have fun playing CoD with your ten year old buddies ;P

Yeah, thanks. It gets old...BEYOND old.

Yeah I agree, its hard for me to play COD:WaW Online for more than 2-3 games per session. Its definitely not the kind of online mode I can pull an all-nighter with. Now the campaign is a different story. The AI is so completely vicious on the higher difficulty (As they are in most COD games) that it will keep you playing the campaign well past the first playthrough. The russian sniper mission was definitely one of the most beautifully crafted levels I've seen in FPS history. This game is COD single-player gameplay at its best. Online multiplayer is ok, if your into the whole "camp and wait" gameplay.

No life is full of things you will not like. But just because you are annoyed by it (who isnt?) doesn't mean you just stop playing online.

That just shows that some immature kid over the web is controlling you. He's telling you "You ****in suck noob, you fail at CoD, go play Mario Kart" (example) and you are listening to him because you way of solving this problem is to quit playing online because you're not smart enough to mute or just turn off your WiiSpeak?(whatever it's called)

Or just do like me and not use a mic? The only people I talk to online is my brother and real life friends. I tend to not relate to people when im a 21 y/o from the streets and everyone else tends to be in their teens talking about what "Jessica" told them at school while yelling "OWNED NOOB"

Well, this is a Wii forum, not a 360 forum, and COD:WAW is not COD4, so I guess that's what happens when you make assumptions...

for a tip dont go online straight away i got pwned wen i did that at least complete the game 1st
