i hav a Dell 24" LCDs 2405FPW (which i think has component, VGA, DVI, s-video and composite connections) will this connect to the ps3 in any way?

and also, how would i connect external speakers (5.1 surround)?

ty anyways

wow..are you serious?..lets see, the ps3 comes stock with composite cable and *possibly* componenet, not quite sure..and you can buy s-video cable for it..

you basically have EVERY mode of connecting a video game system to your monitor, on that monitor..

what you would have to do..is like, lets say you got composite or svideo cables.. plug the yellow, or the actual svideo cable into the monitor, and then plug the red and white into you reciever..

Just get ps2 component cables and hook it to the red, blue, green.

I have the same monitor. It is the best for gaming. I have my PS3 hooked up to the component cable(red, blue, green) and the picture is beautiful. It is the perfect gaming monitor. It does not have 1080p but lets not be anal about that it has 720p which is fine.

I also have my 360 hooked up to the vga and it looks beautiful also.
