Lets say (Just for the hell of it) you visited porn sites with your wii. Would it be possible to get viruses or anything?

Most of the viruses on the internet are one EXE and WMA format. The Wii doesn't read those formats, so you are safe.

While not exaclty a virus remember the fake "softmod" which used a jpeg to boot copied games? It got so much attention because something like that could be possible.

tgjester7: Personally I would be more worried about an update from Nintendo screwing up the system than a virus

Yes, you can if you have the Trial Version. It isn't protected like the final

Like mentioned above, a virus needs to specifically designed for the Wii in-order for it to have any affect. I highly doubt anyone will bother with it since most current viruses are too busy targeting Microsoft.

Just for the sake of it huh? hehehe, just say, i visited a porn site.

Pretend you did get a virus, it would prob only effect you memory card, or delete the browser 'cache' and it would be gone?

Just a wild guess
