Classic controller problems

I've tried the classic controller on a couple of Wii games but it didn't do anything is there a list for games that can be played with the classic controller? or it's just for gc games, because i thought it couldn't even be used for that until i read a few topics

Its for VC games. I think there is one or two Wii games that can use it but not many.

Check out the back of each Wii game, it has an icon with the possible control for that particular game. For example: a picture of a Wiimote, or Wiimote and Nunchuck. If Classic can be used, there should be a picture of it. Look in the upper right hand corner.
