dbz help

dont flame me for renting this game, but i need help on dragon ball z, i cant ever seem to transform whether it be with goku,gohan,vagita,buu,or freiza. it never works, and also how do u unlock characters? I have been playing story mode,dueling,training,and tournaments and havent unlocked anyone. anyone who has/had this game plz help.

ok, 1st you transform by pressing 1. most charchters are unlocked in story mode, but other than that you need to do z-item fusion. look under evolution z, and try gamefaqs.com for a list of what to fuse with
