well, afaik, the wii doesn't read discs in the conventional dvd player style way, so II don't think it will be possible to do it in the future, but i could easily be wrong.
I have been tryingto find out about streaming videos across my network, and will be testing Orb out tonight.

There is rumors saying a new Wii will come out soon with DVD options.
But right now, no update will work for our Wii's.
