Error code 51331

im having this problem for like a month now
everytime i connect to internet i get error code 51331
some people say i should restart my router but that doesnt work
before this ive already have been using wii internet since i got my wii
wich is like 2 years i think
it always had...problems like every 20-30 minutes it crasht and then after waiting 10-20 seconds it was back
my little brother has a wii to and he doesnt have this problem
so one night i was on wii internet channel...and it just crasht (as usual)
but this time it didnt get back so i tried to connect the next morning again
didnt work and i got error code 51331
ive tried to reset router and reset everything and re-enter all the info
nothing works
its really anoying
can someone please help me

According to this information and this information, your error code 51331 indicates a problem with the wireless security settings. But if your brother's Wii is working and yours isn't, and they both use the same router, then I doubt the problem is with the WEP key / WPA passphrase.

When you say you have tried to "restart my router" and "reset everything and re-enter all the info", does this mean that you have reset the router itself to the defaults, or have you just rebooted it? Try wiping all the info in the router and reentering it from scratch. Be careful to keep the existing security credentials, so that it doesn't affect your brother's Wii, or anyone else using that router in the home. The suggestion in the information above that it might be a MAC address filter is also worth looking into.
