Nice. I haven't thought about WSB in a long time (used to be a big favorite in college).

I used to listen to a bit of Phillip Glass and Laurie Anderson who were inspired by / collaborated with Burroughs on a number of pieces. I think I still have Home of the Brave on VHS tape around here somewhere. (Tape ==)

Books written by C.S. Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien. Screwtape letters and LotR especially.

Mr. Baggins will always kick Potters butt.:ciappa:

I haven't had a favourite book/series for a long time.
I don't really read all that much unless its for school, and most of those books are bad ones.

Favouite ones growing up were The Magic Tree-house series

I will look through the posts though and see if I can find books that may interest me.

My favorite book is "The Neverending Story" simply for nostalgic reasons.

Othere faves include:

-any Dean Koontz (for contemporary).
-"Factotum" by Bukowski
-"A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole
-"Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger
-"The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath
-any of Nathaniel Hawthorne's short stories
-pretty much any Poe
-some Whitman

and a whole bunch of other crap.

My favorite is Halo (all 4 books)

When your not playing games, read about them!
