Nintendo Life reports today on an interview with Gaijin Games’ Alex Neuse and Mike Rouse at this week’s PAX East game expo in which they have a little chat about the Wii U, among other things. First off, when the interviewer mentioned that the Wii U is due to arrive around the October/November mark, at the same time as Gaijin’s BIT.TRIP Presents Runner2 is out, Neuse did not deny either that the Wii U is due around that time frame, or that the HD-only BIT.TRIP Presents Runner2 will be coming out for the Wii U. This, verbatim, is what Neuse had to say on the matter:

“Let me put it this way: we have a Wii U dev kit, and our game is coming out around the time that system launches, so that would be pretty cool.”

Mike Rouse then went on to offer his thoughts on the Wii U controller, specifically in relation to Runner2, saying that “if we were to do a Wii U version, what if you could have a pick-up in the game that reveals hidden bonuses and stuff that you can’t see on your screen but have to hold the controller up? You’re still playing but it’s sort of like an X-ray vision.”

Of course he doesn’t exactly say that is what is going to happen, but let’s hope so!
