German Wii -UK compatability

so there is nothing you can buy after you have bought a console? Being European console and wanting to play US games?

This may sound odd, but why not just play European games? If this is anything about release dates, we are only usually 3 days behind..

I think there will be a mod you can use, but is it worth it?

Thanks to everyone for their help, and giving me peace of mind.

I have ordered my Wii from Amazon.de and it will come on the 20th Dec!!
Still just in time for Christmas for my son (and me!)

Will let you know how I get on.

Now all I need to do is sort out some good games for a 6 year old (and a big kid!)
