Getting Past Universtiy Firewall

As the title eludes to I am a college student. How do I get my Wii to connect after dealing with these two problems:

1. You must sign into the wireless network, you are not able to do that on Wii...
2. Firewalls will not let the Wii connect.

I know there is SOME program that can be used because I have heard of kids using whatever it is to bypass the firewall to use LimeWire and other such programs that are blocked.

How do I get past these problems?

Do what i did... take it to a friend's house, download the updates, buy a router and voila, you'l get online at uni. the updates allow you to put in your school's proxy settings (which i'm assuming will be why you need a username/password) and yeah... you'll be sweet.
