Having issues with Chameleon Controller...

Hey guys, I'm new to the site, but umm I went out and bought 2 new GameStop Chameleon Controllers for the Wii and MW3, and can't get the controllers to work on my Wii. I've plugged them in but just can't get any buttons to work on the controller, and I have been trying to get them to work for the past 5-8 hours but to no avail. Can anyone with experience with these please HELP? It would be much appreciated, thanks for reading! (And no, when I get IN the game, they STILL will not work.)

Is MW3 actually compatible with Gamecube controllers? I believe more recently released Wii games tend to only support the Classic controller.

You may be right..... It isn't working with MW3, so maybe I DO need a classic one... Have to either go 10-30 miles to get one, or order one for $20 or so + shipping
