Help with online!!

hey guys im trying to connect my wii to the internet and i have no idea what im doing wrong, i followed the steps, cliked on search for access point, it finds my acces point, i clik on my acces point, then it says my WEP is secure and i needa put a password or key, i put my password, it says its wrong, then i clear the password and i clik okay, it saves the settings then it says i have to do a connection test, i clik okay and it says Error unable to connect to internet. Choose new internet settings and then confirm your connection:yikes:
