hey guys i need help with my connection!

well ever since that update for the wii was available (v4.2) i wasn't able to use my connection for anything, and everytime i try testing the connection it says very quickly that it can't connect to the server, try again later. Does this mean i have to update the wii?

I have a similar problem.But with me on Mario kart,i get connected but as soon as the race is about to start: An error has occurred
Press the eject button,remove the
Game Disc, and turn the power off.
Please read the Wii Operations Manual
for more information.

I cant even find my manual.

Turns out my dic was dirty.Try wiping yours.It worked for me!

Why don't you trying resetting your internet connection again.

i did reset it and everything, except it still won't work its just screwed up or something...
and its error 52230 if that helps

Error 52230 Error codes are not specifically 1 thing so you have to experiment a little at times.
In general this is a firewall blocking you. If it immediately stops trying to connect then gives this error its likely a firewall. Depending on what brand you have disable the SPI firewall in your router settings.
While there check to see what the router has for MTU. It will say 1500 or 1492.
Be sure to click save after removing the SPI firewall.
Go into Wii settings and add the MTU and save. try to connect.
If it does not connect turn off the Wii. Do a hard reset on the modem/router.
(unplug modem and router Wait 30 secs plug in only the modem. Wait until all lights stop blinking. Plug in the router. When all lights stop blinking turn on your Wii) try to connect.
