Anyways, I plan on purchasing a Wii very soon, but online play is very important to me! When will you actually be able to play games online against other players (if there is a specific date, that would be great!)?

There aren't any *online* games for Wii scheduled till 2008.


Of course, the Mario strikers game seems to grabbing attention..

Mario Soccer is supposed to be the first game online then Pokemon
