How did you unlock your characters?

the only characters i got through SSE are g/w, toon link, jigglypuff, and wolf.

i got the rest from vs mode :yesnod:

SSE except for jigglypuff, wolf, captain falcon, and toon link.

 

[Damascus]

5 of my characters were from like, Brawls... Rest from SSE (including Wolf, T Link, and Jiggly)

I was stuck at a point in SSE >.>

(btw, last boss in Intense mode really isn't as bad as I thought...)
