How the idea was created for Sonic in Smash Bros.

It all started like this

(i'm not positive if this is where Sonic in SB all began but I think it is IMO, this is as far back as I could track the rumor).

which then got the idea started to have Sonic in Brawl, and if it wasn't for this magazine article lying we might not have Sonic in Brawl IMO.
