My problem is that I can't find the order form on [http://www.nintendo.com/] anywhere!
What's up? A recall?

This seems to be for the older ones.
The date is old, and I just tried to order, but it said I had already ordered.

The website does not show the locking straps, it shows the mandatory straps.

Trust Me! That is where you order them, I've done it myself, They do Not make the old ones anymore! They are only producing the locking ones now.

Just to second the last poster and reassure the OP, the new straps are sent out as replacements even though nintendo's website gives no mention of the change. I have received two not knowing that there was a change. From what I can gather, there is no "recall", just simply a redesign.

(A recall would imply some fault with the original tightening mechanism, which obviously places some blame upon Nintendo for stupid people's misuse. No self incrimination necessary)
