Mario 3 screen?

Just curious why on the virtual console Mario 3 does the left side of the screen have that viritcal colored bar and occasional graphic quirks?

you don't notice the bright blue bar on the left of the screen? you must be blind.




i've been wondering this myself too. i have no idea whats causing it though. it's only this game though which makes me wonder even more.

I see two things the 1st is a little blue circle on the bottom right and the 2nd is a blue bar on the left...this makes me wonder, maybe Nintendo didn't notice it haha. Iot eone should bring it to their attention by phoning them or emailing them.
