Mario Party 8 Release Date Changed!

According to the Nintendo website, the release date of mario party 8 has been changed from March to a more general "Quarter 2" release. This sucks. I had it preorded because it actually had a release date.

I got March 5th...

I dont think I played a Mario Part since 5. I didnt have a gamecube long enough to play the later versions.
But I cant wait to play this on the Wii.

OMG this is another thing I have heared about Nintendo that pisses me off. So now I have to wait until the summer to play Mario Party? BS, Nintendo keeps moving dates back for everything and its BS dont make release dates if you dont know 100% you'll be done with the game. Over 4 games on the Wii have had there dates change and I'm getting tired of it, make a date and SICK with it.

Then dont set a release date its that simple. Say It should be out in Q1 then when you change it you wont have people like me mad. Im glad they put Q2 instead of a date.

I know, it was stupid for nintendo to release a date March 5th... they should have put 1-2 QTR. 2007 or just TBA 2007

No, Mario Party 8 is indeed coming in Q2.
I've heard this from a number of sources. Don't expect it in March.

hey everyone,

I just got my Wii this sunday, got my ticket at 6am at Target!! Anyway thats just to explain why this is my first post.

It's showing a pre-release of 6/1 now instead of the 3/1. I don't know how much we can trust ebgames but I guess its somewhat of an estimate. I must say I am pretty pissed about this too. My roomates and I have been waiting for MP8 before I even got the system. Hopefully the upgrades will be worth it.
