hey all

following a thread about channels made by D Twizzle. i wanted to make a poll and see which of these features for the wii would be most favourable to have. Maybe one day nintendo would have it implemented  by the way you can choose more than one feature

Streaming live TV on your Wii? What is the point of that? You're playing it ON a TV!

I say Try-Before-You-Buy, and a Chat.. thing...

I dont mean normal tv channels but channels you cannot subscribe to on your cable provider.

i saipd playboy yesterday. i'll stick with it.

i dont think nintendo would ever implement that...what woudl it be called playwii

I say the try before you buy. There are so many games coming out, i simply can't afford them all. Games like Zelda, Mario, Smash bros etc are deffinate, but Excite truck, red steel, super monkey ball, etc. I would just love to get a feel for them befoe splashing out the cash.

Also, most of the others you can do on your pc anyway which for me is only in the next room, so those would only be a convenience. The try before you buy mode would be unique to the wii.

why not. they want more mature content. playboy is a good start and the console contains parental control so its very possible :p. + japanese love porn

How does this topic always turn to porn? If you guys want porn so much, which is pretty lame, then use the Wii's Opera browser. Or, better yet, use your computer; don't defile Wii, it's too pure for that. Nintendo is the least likely company to contribute to such a stupid waste of time.

Anyway, I voted for all the choices in the poll. For the person that said "what's the point? just watch normal TV." that's nice if you have the money, but it would be nice if I could see some of my favorite shows like The Office, Countdown w/ Keith Olberman, The Daily Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brian, etc. for a small price, rather than paying for both internet access and cable TV.

Good point. I have a dvd player that will have IPTV support by December that will be provided by CinemaNow VOD (Video on Demand) http://www.cinemanow.com/. If nintendo make this i think thats a plus. I just dont see ps3 doing this and also this could be pointed at all generation of ages. i think its all about providing features that ps3 cant.
