Found these two fairly large (30mb) videos from the official Nintendo press site and thought they were worth sharing.

They feature some decent in game footage from the main Wii titles, Mario,Zelda etc.

But more importantly they focus heavily on the actions of the gamer and the way in which the remote responds to their actions.. certainly cool stuff.

Take a look:

Very nice. I'm a little worried about Metroid Prime 3's control methods, but I guess only time will tell. :D

EDIT: Yeah, I must beg the question: In any of those games, is there the capability to control the camera; i.e. looking up and down?

Yea i noticed a little delay from the actions to the gameplay.. hopefully that'll get ironed out.

Actually, those are promotional vids, so the delay appears intentional to me. You see people having fun with the wiimote and then you see the result in the game.

re: looking around

I'm assuming for the fps games (metroid, red steel) the view will follow the aiming reticule so looking around will just be a matter of pointing the wiimote. For mario, the stick on the nunchuck controls movement so maybe the d-pad on the wiimote controls the view?

Hmm... Hopefully. Reading that makes me feel better. :)
