nintendo wiimote timeout, sleep mode

Hi all,

Wiimote is working fine, but there are some games (like ea active) that my girlfriend uses in which you do not use the wiimote for a period of time. This then causes the game to pause as the wiimote times out, goes to sleep whatever you want to call it.

is there anyway to stop this or increase the time before the controller automatically does this?

Press any button on the Wiimote to reset that time-out counter. If any buttons don't do anything during these periods of inactivity, use those.

The whole point is I don't want to have to press any buttons. She is playing ea active, mid stretch for example and she has to then get the wiimote and press a button. Not good.We want to either turn off this sleep mode function or extend the time it takes to activate
