I have a Wii consol that I bought and use in the States. I would like to be able to use it when I am in Britain. I realize that I will need an adaptor for the power (120-240) and an adapter plug, but am concerned about the differences between NTSC and PAL.

There was some earlier discussion about PAL and SECAM, which confused me a little. It seemed to suggest that while the consol should work, I would need to get a new game. Is this the way it works or will my consul not work with a British television? I assume that I would be able to buy a British version of Wii Sport, which is what I am interested in.

It should work with most modern TVs
You would have to import games from the US (videogamesplus.ca, playasia are good sites) in order to play them
And then theres the Virtual console/Wiiware games
You would have to buy a US points card (or buy the points on the Wii)
