online gaming question

well i must admit i am a nintendo noob, i have not owned one since the nes, but the wii just looks to fun to pass on, as far as online gaming lets say that i dont know anyone else with a wii does that mean that i cant play online with anyone because nobody has the number i have to exchange with people or how does that all work? im hoping there is just some sort of lobby system, if not well i guess that just sucks...

there is no online play yet, so it doesn't really matter if you have friends or not.

yeah but the Wii allows you to get online and see the weather, so we have that going for us....... God forbid we get off our asses and look out the window......... the Wii WiFi feature sure is handy.......

dont worry when online comes you get to play with random people online but if some does get a wii send them your code
