Online Wii Play World Wide

How do i play other people world wide in games such as Wii Sports????
My dads friend from work said his brother plays his friend from new york all the time.
We bought the Wi Fi thing and it works great a recamender to all!
But i want to know how do i play other people do they have to be my friend to play them?
Also what is with the Mii Parade??
So if you know how to play others please give me the directions or send me a link to a website with the answere to my question.

Wii online multiplayer is not yet released so what you ask is impossible at the moment.

Now that said brace yourself for about 1-3 "use search function" posts. =)

Oh allmost missed Mii parade. To keep it shor you noticed that Mingle option in your Mii creator right. So Mii parade gathers Miis from other people that are in your friends list! So those miis with mingle option on from your friends will create a mii parade on your wii. Note your own miis won't show up in there.
