I live in the US, but I'm thinking about purchasing a Wii from the UK. From what I understand, a PAL Wii won't work on an NTSC TV without some sort of adapter that changes the hz from 60 (NTSC standard) to 50 (PAL standard). I was wondering though, would an adapter still need to be purchased if I were to hook up the PAL Wii to my NTSC PC monitor?
Basically, I was thinking that I could get one of those VGA converter cable things for the Wii (something like this), and then hook it up to my PC monitor so I don't have to worry about having to get some sort of hz-changing adapter. Would that work though?
