Pirates: Adventures Of The Black Corsair Coming to WiiWare-1.052009-12-07 17:04:05Maura SFans of pirate games will be looking forward to Mamba Game’s forthcoming seafaring opus, Pirates: Adventures of the Black Corsair, which is due for release in August 2010. The game takes place in 17th century London, where players get to experience life as marauding buccaneers. After being double-crossed by their pirate captain and accused of being traitors to their country, players must try to clear their names, as well as pursuing the ultimate aim of becoming the most famous pirate of all, the Black Corsair – defender of the Crown.
“With Pirates: Adventures of the Black Corsair, Mamba Games is launching its first adventure game onto the console market. Gaming fans will appreciate this existing genre,” said Thomas Ormond, head of International Business Development, Mamba.
During the course of the game players will get to explore three massive worlds – London City, The Tower of London and the Royal Court. There are a total of 20 bonus swashbuckling mini games to unlock, in addition to the single-player, versus, cooperative and story modes.
