Playing people online?

So I have a connection but I dont understand what games you can play people online in and how? I have my mii set to travel but no1 comes or anything...

Adding people to your address book let's you message them and exchange pics through the Wii's internet connection.

Next year it should allow you to play online with them as well.

My Mii looks early like me... its kind of weird how Nintendo was able to let you make almost anyone from real life.

Im wondering if I send someone a Mii and then change that Mii... Does it change the Mii on the other system? I will have to do some testing.
