Quick Router Setting Question

Considering in the very first post you state "I do not know how to go to the settings to set it up" obviously you do need the manual.
You can download manuals from D-Link's website. Find the one for your model and it will explain how to get to your router an any default username/password to log in, and how to configure it once you're in.
If any of the defaults have been changed, you'll have more work ahead of you.

go to your computer
open internet explorer (or other web browser)
for D-Link
type in http://192.168.0.1
Username= "admin"
Password= " " (leave blank)
for Linksys
type in http://192.168.1.1
Username= " " (leave blank)
Password= "admin"
these are default settings, so if something got changed all u can do is reset the router. if u r using the default settings, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD NOW! and dont forget it!
the best thing to do is just leave everything unlocked and use the MAC Filter. Find ur Wii's mac address and type it in the field somewhere.
u could password the wireless network too.
