Jacob was horrified by the giant. It was made of his fellow countrymen and was just plain awful to look at. "Is that your best? Some lightning then making the dead fight for you?" he tried not to look at the giant but it was hard not to look back. It was just so ugly.

Toxic breath, huh? Well then I'll stay away from it Jacob quickly dashed back and concentrated as hard as he could. His cheek and rod glowed red as he gave a mighty yell. Every piece of rubble that wasn't still stuck in the ground flew up. Jacob pointed his rod at the giant corpse and the rubble buried him, destroying the undead creature.

Woah he thought. A wave of exhaustion overcame and he fell to his knees. Too much power in that last shot. If I plan on living, I better not use my ability again. Jacob stood up and got into a fighting stance. "Come."

OOC: If anyone has trouble picturing Jackir-Li, hes, hes pretty much a Bruce Lee.

"Ugh..." Sekhmet grumbled as he saw how exhausted the man looked, "this is no fun for either of us.Your not even going all out!" Sekhmet flashed a vehemet yet wild glare at the man. "Tell you what, when you regain your full power, then we'll fight. Until then, i will be at the Castle De Valentine, in Staklopitsville, Destry. If you wish to die," he chuckled, then come."

Lightning flashed from Sekhmets hands, blinding the battlefield. When the light cleared, Sekhmet was already on his horse roughly 2 miles from the burning town. "Vile cretin..." he muttered as he rubbed his jaw, "he nearly took my head off."

The light hurt his eyes. It took a couple minutes before he could see again. His hearing was fine though. Valentine Castle? He must be a higher up. To think I'm not dead is...a miracle.

Jacob surveyed all the damage to the town. No building was completely whole. No body seemed to be moving. Even the carrion birds were begining to come towards their feast. Jacob had run hoping to save someone. All he managed to do was save himself.

Now what do I do? There was supposed to be somebody here that could help me. With everyone dead, I might as well track my other lead. Jacob began walking on a path out of the town, using his rod for support. He was exhausted.

occ; few things, first great start everyone. second, dal could you add a forest into salfir somehere in the east. Make it pretty large. And last where is the chin-yu people at. It it a city in Salfir? I'm confused. haha "Flesh Goliath" that's great.

Forest in Salfir:

Oric Halgern sat high up in a tree, scouting the area. He was on the edge of the forest, and form his postion he could see the Destry camp far in the distance. They had been getting closer for days, and he had all of the men on high alert for trouble. Oric began to make his way back into the forest. It was a great hiding place, thick and dark. One could easily get lost if they didn't know where they were going.

Oric came into camp. It was morning, and everyone was just getting ready for the day. After bording that ship, he took one of the men's advice and landed a small ways up the coast, took about the ship for wood and begain the hike into the woods. It took them a few days, having to stop of the women and children to rest but eventually they made camp. It had been a month since they came, and their population had nearly double with people coming every day seeking selter against the Destrians.

Their camp sat on ruins of a castle of some other walled structure. A stone wall ran around in a square, with a few gaps here and there due to age. In the center was a small city of wooden houses built into the hills. A short section of rampart still stood, overlooking the front gate.

The men that were young enough where given weapons, and some of them wanted to go to war with the Destrians to fight for freedom. But they were not ready for that. He didn't nearly have enough men, or supplies. But someday, someday yes they would strike back against the Destrains.

Until then, Oric along with some of his best soilders went out once of twice a week to get food and supplies. Stealing it from the Destrians. Oric returned to his hut, lit a fire and got dressed. He wore a sleeveless black tunic and black pants, and some makeshift armour he had created.

Oric took the armour he wore as a child, added a few plates for other places to create torso armour that fit. It covered his neck down to his waist, but left his arms from his shoulders down exposed. It was black with gold trim, and bore his family's crest on the front of two eagles. He also wore a light layer of chain mail under his armour, heavy enough to stop an arrow or the tip of a blade. Oric also carried a short sword and his bow.

He gather the party together, 15 men in all and set out at a run to loop around the Destry camp.

IC:
Richand and Siana trekked through the dense forest. The last rays of light were vanishing from the setting sun, leaving the two in total darkness. Siana muttered a quick spell under her lips, and a small orb of blue flame splintered to life in her hands, providing illumination.
"Maybe we should rest for the night. We've already fought two groups of Destry soldiers today and I'm exhausted, and I'm sure you are too. We'll pick up in the morning."
"Just a little bit farther, Sia. I see some light up ahead, perhaps there's a village where we can find food and shelter."
Siana's face brightened a bit and the two quickened their pace. Leaving the edge of the forest, however, they were horrified to discover that the light coming from the town was actually blazing fire. The whole town was in shambles. Sia's voice trembled.
"Who... who would do this?"
Richand's face darkened. "I'll give you three guesses."
Suddenly, Richand spotted a lone traveler leaving the town.
"Sia, stay here. I'm going to see if that traveler is friendly. If he started this blaze, then..."
Richand didn't finish his sentence, but instead quickly rushed out of the shadows and stepped into the traveller's path.
"Stop! Did you start this inferno? Explain yourself!"

OOC: Jacob's got some 'splainin' to do.

OoC:you didn't have permission Giga. i'll let it go only cause i want more IC posts. (yes i'm selfish like that)

IC: Jacob saw some guy walking towards him. "Stop! Did you start this inferno? Explain Yourself!" he said.

"I'd love to, but you got something to eat? I'm starving and its kind of a long story."

OOC: Sorry, didn't know I needed permission.
IC: Richand brightened up a little, as he didn't sense any malice from the traveller. he took a small bundle off his back and unrolled it. It contained a small loaf of bread. Richand broke off a piece and tossed it to him.
"Hope you like bread, that's all we've got."

OoC: watch the double posts Giga

IC: Jacob caught the bread and took a bite. It was a little stale but he wasn't about to complain.

"So what do you want to know? Who did it? Why I was there? Just ask me anything about it and I'll tell you what I know."

~ Valentine Castle, Destry ~

Sekhmet walked through the large steel doors of Valentine Castle, the Dictator of Destry's massive central complex. He walked down the long, wide halls to the marble staircase. He could feel the red felt crush beneath his feet. It seemed to take a long time for Sekhmet to travel up the staircase, and when he finally got to the top he felt more exhausted then he had after the fight.

He approached Lord Valentine's chambers with zip in his step, yet his head held low and humble. Sekhmet opened the door and entered the room. No one was their. He decided to browse while he waited for Storm. The vast archives intrigued him, and so he swiftly explored Storm's wide collection of knowledges from history. He looked through many books, and found a particularly satysfying one about Storm's life.

It was his unfinished autobiography. As Sekhmet read the words, he seemed to be transported into the book itself, seeing and hearing it happen as if it were right in front of him.

August 14, Age 32

I had just gotten home from fencing practice, when I was told that there had been a disturbance in my Kingdom. I quickly made my way to the source of the disturbance, the Forbidden city of Chin-Yu, lair of the Tiger Guardians.

When I got there, the fightning had already begun. I drew my sword and met them in battle, slahing down whomever i came in contact with, even if it was with my own warriors. Then, my sword met another man's.

He had been causing most of the disturbance. The two of us squared off and began exchanging blows. The man was Chan-Li, a great warrior and master of the Dao sword. "Your a good dancer," I exclaimed as the slahes came closer to my throat, "But i'm better."

My blade met his wrist, and then the other side of his wrist. His sword clanged as it hit the ground, and I grasped his throat and squeezed the life out of him. I remember, he reached out as he died, and that voice...Daddy....it called. I found the source of the voice, but being such a small lad, I simply had him...escorted, from the premises.

By escorted, I mean of course, I had him thrown from the tower top into the river below.

Sekhmet concentrated as he read the passages. "Find anything interesting among my artifacts?" said Lord Valentine. Sekhmet, startled, shut the book and quickly put it away, turning to face his Lord.

"My Lord," Sekhmet said as he bowed his head, "The task has been completed. The village was torched, and the Drosin countryside is in chaos."

"Excellent," Storm replied, "Soon, Drosin will be ours. No problems I assume?"

"Actually, my Lord," Sekhmet replied, "There was a minor problem with a local, but it will be dealt with."

"Heheh," Storm chuckled, "let me guess. You let your pride get in the way and challenged him to a deathmatch here, at my Citadel, when he is at full power?"

"Heh, yes my lord." he replied.

"Well, as long as it becomes no problem of mine, deal with it as you see fit. Now, here's our next move. I want you to take your team, along with Satra Morta, and invade the Drosin capitol. To do this, you will need to seize and capture the surrounding cities. Leave none alive, and you should be fine. "

He continued, "I am only sending the two of you, along with a small strike team. By killing all you come in contact with, you will be able to summon an Army of the Undead when you attack the Drosin Capitol. Dismissed."

"Very good, my Lord." he replied. Sekhmet then left to find Satra Morta and begin his Quest."

EDIT: i wont be on much the next two days, so Bodine has bunnying rights for Sekhmet when he is Satra. Storm Valentine wont do much so, he'll be fine.

OoC: lbu has Satra not bodine

IC: "Actually from what I can tell it was only one guy on horseback." Jacob took a bite of the bread as he sat down on the side of the path. "He used lightning magic and some weird spell that raised the dead. I fought him but exhausted myself. Strangely he ran saying to fight him at full power. Anything else you want to know?" Jacob finished the bread.
