Repuation points

ok ive read the reputation points thread but im sill a little confused

i have been a member of this forum for about 4 hours, and i recieved a rep for a review ive posted (woo!) however i have two green bars next to my name and it says i have 29 rep points when i click on my own green rep mushroom

i thought one rep got you 1 point, and ive only been repped once as far as i can tell!

the member who repped you was a respected member so they had more rep points to give(i think)

For every 25 points you receive you gain a green block and are awared a new reputation title (put your cursor over the green blocks to read).

You start with 1 green bar, for having a reputation of over 0.
Also, depending on how much reputation you have, the amount you give to someone will differ.

ahh ok, yes i did rear that thread, but it did say in that thread that you recieve a green bar when you recieve over 25 points, and i was confused how when i had only been repped once i could have more than 25 as i thought it was a 1 rep 1 point system a little like ebays feed back.

thanks for clearing it up for me
