Is there any way to save specific points in the games you buy on wii shop "during gameplay". For instance, I just bought super mario brothers 3, since I cant "save the game". is there any way I can save the screen it is on and keep all the data, as if it were an emulator??

Last night I turned off my console (using the off button on the wiimote) and this morning when I turned my wii on and went to the SMB3 channel, it went to the beginning of the game, I was at the 7th world last night. Should I go back to the wii menu before turning the console off? Or you're saying it should just save my spot automatically?
