Saving Super Mario Bros 3

How do you save the levels? I downloaded the game to the Wii console. Each time I leave the game and come back later, I have to start over again.

im not sure you can, i dont have it on vc but i remember on nintendo once you turn it off youd have to start all over again the next time you played

maybe try looking on the nintendo website. i think i remember reading somewhere that a game you download is the exact same as it was before -- meaning if you couldn't save it then, you can't save it now. but i could be wrong.
