Those MySims really do get everywhere, the crazy kids! Now they’re taking to the skies in a new adventure announced by EA today for the Nintendo Wii. MySims SkyHeroes is a flying action-adventure game and the latest instalment in the MySims franchise. In the game, players lead the resistance against Morcubus and his drone army. Starting out as a rookie pilot, players fight to become a flying ace by defeating dangerous enemies in aerial combat, testing their reflexes in fast-paced speed challenges, and taking on massive enemy bosses.

As you progress through the game, you’ll also get the chance to build, customise and tune your aircraft – upgrade the wings for more adept manoeuvring, change the engine to get more speed, or add camouflage to the plane to make yourself less visible to the enemy.

MySims SkyHeroes is set to feature a full solo campaign, as well as local split-screen. Here’s Scott Evans, general manager of the MySims franchise, talking about the game:

“MySims games have truly become favourites among kids, families and gamers alike, so we have challenged ourselves to take development to the next level and deliver a new style of adventure for fans, with game features and MySims-style fun that can be enjoyed equally by all. We are thrilled to have many firsts with MySims SkyHeroes, like introducing epic boss battles and cooperative gameplay missions, both available for the very first time in any MySims game.”

The game is due to be released for the Wii this Fall.
