These all has been aswered many times allready on these forums but here are the answers still.

1: Yes 4 of them and 2 for GC memory cards
2: Yes and no Wii has about 2 times power compared to old GC in paper and no not better than PS3 ever. Maybe you are meaning PS2 and that would be yes since GC is more powerfull allready than PS2.
3: That depends a bit I would say Wii lauch line up is rather exelent but there is no Touch a pixelboobs games for Wii allso Wii is still missing rpgs so it's a matter of preferance.
4: Time will tell Currently 360 is most sold console because of earlier release. Nintedo is outselling PS3 at the moment but on other hand there is allso more Wii made so I suggest that you ask this again in 1 year or so and I hope I can give you answer in form of Wii by then =)
