i dont know much about sonic rushes. so u are supposed to press the button when it pops up for about a millionth of a second?

yeah and it makes you go faster, and it's only a millionth of a second if your going at the top speed (although i'm not sure what the speed options in this game are)

I remember in Secret Rings he gets faster than the speed of sound if you put the right customizations and then he does the fire speed. That was awesome to watch.
