Nordic Games Publishing has today announced that three brand new editions to its Racer franchise will be released on the Nintendo Wii this summer – Rally Racer, Drag & Stock Racer and GP Classic Racing, and all for the bargain price of £14.99 each.

The first of the three to be released will be GP Classic Racing on July 9th, which aims to replicate the raw power and excitement of 1960s classic car racing, where players get to choose from five classic cars to race around 10 challenging circuits.

Next up is Rally Racer, which will be released on July 20th, and which puts gamers behind the wheel of a high-powered fully customisable rally car, to race across fast-paced time trials or full European Championships, including international locations ranging from English landscapes to Alpine passes.

Finally, last but not least, we have Drag & Stock Racer, which will hit the stores on August 8th, where players will have the chance to participate in what is known as the fastest and most dangerous of all motorsports, choosing from a stock car, top fueller or funny car. Launch your vehicle of choice down quarter-mile straights, banked ovals and a host of other hair-raising circuits and enjoy the rush!

Here’s Nik Blower, Nordic Games Sales and Marketing director, speaking about the game:

“Your dad would stand no chance against you at GT5, but with any of our new Racer games at least you’d have a great laugh and it’d have cost you less than putting a suitcase on Ryanair. Pocket-money gaming never went away and not everyone wants second-hand games for their birthday. Our new Racers are box-fresh and great value.”
