What are your TOP 5 favorite game franchises from best to least?
feel free to say why.

1. Megaman (including x and zero series)
2. Sonic
3. Harvest moon
4. Streetfighter
5. Kirby

megaman is the best just for the fact of having 20+ games in its collection.
was just a young fella when i first played megaman 3 at my cousins house, when i got older i realized the x series tied in, and i was sucked into the story since then.

1. Final Fantasy [7,8,9 Are the best ones by far]
2. Mario [Just god]
3. Zelda [Not had much experience of these games but they rock]
4. FIFA [Just good to play with my mates]
5. Sonic [I like the speed though Secret Rings wasn't that good]

1. Pokemon - First game I ever played properly was Pokemon Yellow on gameboy colour and I've loved it ever since
2. Mario - Obvious reasons, so many different types of games, so even though I don't particularly like Mario Strikers the rest are good.
3. Crash Bandicoot / Spyro - Favorite PS games ever lol but Shadow Legacy wasn't as good as the old ones.
4. Zelda - Haven't played any of the really old ones but good nonetheless.
5. Sonic - Same reason as Zelda.

My list is:

1. Super smash bros! (the best multiplayer games EVER!)
2. Zelda (I played nearly all, just not all the game boy ones)
3. Mario (Always will be in my heart...)
4. Metroid! (haven't played very many, but from my experience so far, they've been great!)
5. Mana series (secret of mana, sword of mana,... although they seem to be getting worse over time. But I believe they will yet make a good Mana game. Children of mana was horrible.)

This is a tough one!

1. Legend of Zelda - what games should be
2. Mario - doesn't need explanation
3. Metroid - Metroid Prime is the first FPS I didn't get sick of after 10 minutes
4. Mario sports (tennis, golf, kart, baseball, etc.) - they can make *ANY* sport 10 times more fun
5. Metal Gear Solid/Splinter Cell - they're too close to choose but I love the stealth action

Guitar Hero can have an honorable mention cuz it's still a relatively new franchise and with GH3 it's really gonna pick up some steam.

If you're a big Mega Man fan you may enjoy Mega Man X: Command Mission. It's a Mega Man RPG for the Gamecube, which is a bit odd, but it is worth a rent.
