Training Mode ????

Every time I go into Training mode and enter in options for like a smash ball, it goes back to the character selection screen.
Please help me cause i am ticked.

PLEASE PLEASE JUST HELP!

EDIT: Wow, I'm stupid.
I pressed finish instead of the + button.
YAY I FIXED IT
