ya ive beat ganon and such but i read somthing on game FAQS that the TRUE final boss could be distracted with the fishing rod, whos the true final boss?

Yeh that does work the final form of ganondorf when you fight him with your sword get out your fishing rod and he'll be distracted by it and open for attack
