The stuff you can claim on the site atm are pretty rubbish. May as well just let them accumulate and then blow them on something cool like the wii points or a game or something, i cant see me spending them on n e thing else so its not a concern for me lol. Even if they rip me off with like...5000 stars for 500 points, then at least i havent got a ringtone or a wallpaper.

And yes you can use a debit card, if it has a mastercard or visa emblem on it. I have one of those and i already bought points online.
