ok so other than a usb to ethernet connector what else can i do with my usb ports
nothing as of yet... but in the future there is a strong possabity of keyboard
keyboard would be nice, and i hear word of using external hard drives.
thats a romer like 1/10 odds of them doing that, thats 10%
so if i put a usb keyboard right now it wouldn't read? and what about a flash drive
yup it wont i tryed mine and it wont work.... flash drive i don't know maybe someone else can help you there
So far I've not heard of any USB devices working with the Wii (aside from the Ethernet -> USB adapter, of course). I'm really looking forward to a keyboard though...my prediction is it'll come out alongside the full version of the web browser.
i think if they come out with a keyboard it will be connected to the wiimote, not the usb, but hey thats just my opinion
I'm disappointed that Nintendo will only allow their brand accessories, just like Microsoft. Hopefully, they won't overprice their accessories like Microsoft. (i.e $100 wifi adapter, $60 wireless headset) They both should mimic Sony in this area.
Maybe Nintendo could do an update to allow 3rd party use of the usb ports.
Also, I don't see why you couldn't use a DS as a keyboard.
I hope the Wii keyboard will be wireless.
i hope they just give me online play
I tried it with my iPod but it didnt work. Hahah!
they have little things like external fans and lights for decoration and cooling... but that just runs off the usb power not the usb itself...
I hope that Nintendo doesn't make one of these again.
you can use that on the wii works fine... just not wireless...
I have tried putting the keyboard that I use for SOCOM ll online, and I have tried putting my MP3 player/Flash Drive in it, niether work, im with you, wtf are they used for?:wtf:
yeah there has to be more coming out... cuz if it is indeed for ethernet to usb... then why do i have 2 usb ports... ya know
usb ports almost always come in pairs
Maybe guitar hero's guitar will connect to the USB port, or is it going to be wireless? I hope a kiiboard comes out soon though.
im using it to charge my mp3, works just fine, i dont know what else to do with it though, i wish you could save your games to a flash drive in there.
