I should imagine the AA batteries come in the box with the controller, and aren't the memory cards SD Cards? If so I already have loads of those for my phone/digital camera etc.

LoL, the batteries BETTER recharge, I was thinking of this before:

You life miles away from the game store, you get your Wii, come home, just to find out you need to buy the batteries yourself. lol..

The Wii will have internal memory, so SD cards won't be needed out of the box. It will use SD cards too though.
