i would say only if they intent to release a Phantasy Star Online or some other mmo. but i wouldn't get your hopes up for one.

Thats a good question, I have this ASCII keyboard that I bought with phantasystar online for my gamecube and i tried to use it with the wii but it doesnt work. If nintendo or a third party company makes a keyboard it would hook up with the wiimote.

i do know that they sell keyboards with plugs that can go into usb ports like they do for mice. But i dought it would work for the wii at the moment. im pretty sure they will make one

I don't know about wireless. I doubt that it uses the same frequencies/channels as the Wii. I would stick with a $10 USB KB.

i have an adapter for mouses that changes it from the standerd plug to usb and it works on keyboards but i dont this wii would regonize a keyboard for the internet
