The Wii News Channel coming this weekend

The Wii News Channel (free) is scheduled to debut this Saturday. It will feature top news stories and photographs from The Associated Press.

It will allow users to use an interactive map to navigate with the Wii's wireless controller and zoom in and out of areas of interest and get the relevant news. News will be available in English, French, Spanish, Dutch, German, and Swiss-German, with Japanese-language news provided by the Japanese news company Goo.
