WII not playing games

Our wii has been working fine until today. It is not recognising any of our games, it says"it cannot read the disc". Does anyone know what I can do to fix it.

generally i suggest a cleaning kit, however if no games run at all [and suddenly no less] it sounds like a job for a qualified repair person, either a local shop or directly with nintendo themselves. good luck.
