i had that exact same probablem too. i needed my ssid and i had to change the channel to channel 11 on my router. hope that helps.

Sometimes the wireless connection on Wii is unpredictable. I have several wireless routers running in bridge mode at home and I have already get my Wii connected through one of the router wirelessly. Two days ago, it failed to connect to the internet. I ended up setting wireless 2 to another router using exactly the same settings (manual IP and gateway). The interesting part is the original connection was at the main router (gateway) and now it works on a router that bridged to the main router which is uplinked to broadband.:crazy:
